G C Contractors, Inc. completes the construction and relocation of our new corporate office.

After 14 years, we had outgrown our old office space and it was necessary for us to move into a bigger and more efficient space. Our new corporate office consists of 5,000 square feet with open ceilings, oak flooring and the latest computer equipment. The move will enable us to provide more proficient service and continue to grow with the never ending changes in today's industry.

G C Contractors, Inc. Serves JWT

World renown advertising giant JWT selected G C Contractors, Inc. for construction management/general contracting services to construct their new cafe at 466 Lexington Avenue. G C Contractors, Inc. has worked closely with HOK Architects in budgeting and modifying the design to enable this project to proceed. JWT has just completed a 6th floor restack that G C Contractors, Inc. budgeted and twenty four new restrooms.

G C Contractors, Inc. Teams Up With Tishman Construction

Tishman Construction, one of the countries largest commercial builders, has selected G C Contractors, Inc. for general contracting services in the transformation of 1095 Avenue of the Americas at Bryant Park. The former Verizon building is undergoing a complete transformation. The 41 story tower at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue will be completely renovated from the interior to the entire exterior skin of the building. The project is to be complete in early 2008.

G C Contractors, Inc. Selected 911 Defense Project

Since the 911 Attacks, NYC has been on the defense. NYSIF has been on the defense itself for the past several years. Last year G C Contractors, Inc. was selected to install concrete barriers around the entire city block which the building occupies. Just recently G C Contractors, Inc. was selected to install blast resistant entrances into the building, consisting of engineered steel structures, new entrance doors & frames for both the front and rear of the building, along with the store front lobby glass. The project is underway and expected to be completed by summer 06.

WPP Group Selects G C Contractors, Inc. For Vital Restack

WPP Group USA, Inc. has selected G C Contractors, Inc. for important restacking of companies.

G C Contractors, Inc. provided services to relocate Ogilvy Public Relations from the two floors that they occupied, at 909 Third Avenue, to their new home at 309 West 49th Street. We then renovated the existing space at 909 Third Avenue for Millward Brown and Hill & Knowlton. All of this was accomplished within a (12) week time frame.

New and Modern Conference/Presentation Area for Ogilvy & Mather Now In Operation

G C Contractors, Inc. teamed up with Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, P.C. Architects in order to create a first class conference and presentation area for the advertising giants. The project consisted of state of the art audio visual, a kitchen and bar area, as well as 25' high ceilings on the Mezzanine Level of World Wide Plaza.

G C Contractors, Inc. Completes Arduous Task of Vent Stack Removal

After several unsuccessful attempts with various contractors, Young & Rubicam engaged

G C Contractors, Inc. to remove a 10 ' 10' x 26 story vent stack, located within the building set back.

Many unforeseen conditions presented themselves during the removal of the stack. G C Contractors, Inc. presented many cost saving ideas, in order to reduce the burden on the client. In addition,

G C Contractors, Inc. devised a method to protect personnel, as well as vital building equipment throughout the duration of the project until its successful completion.

G C Contractors, Inc. Goes To College

G C Contractors, Inc. completes new Bio Chemistry Lab for CCNY. The new lab seems to be the pride and joy of the college. All of the other college departments are now vying for the "Class A" workmanship that was provided.

G C Contractors, Inc. takes C.W. Post's dilapidated chemical lab and library and gives them a new life.

Working at a college campus is very demanding, as the completion is vital to the upcoming school year. G C Contractors, Inc. was successful on completing both projects on time.

G C Contractors, Inc. Gets NYSC Into Great Shape

G C Contractors, Inc. has just completed the renovation of the Mercer Street New York Sports Club. The facility underwent a total entrance lobby renovation, dance studio make over and a new cycling room within just six weeks, while remaining open the whole time. The work was completed without the sports club missing the beat.

First Data Processes G C Contractors, Inc. Contract

First Data, the nations largest credit card and payment processor, selected G C Contractors, Inc. to renovate 40,000 square feet of office space in downtown Manhattan.

Along with architectural firm Alan Gaynor & Company, G C Contractors, Inc. provided the construction of new offices, a computer room, sales areas, executive conference areas and lunchrooms.

The two phased project was completed in just under (10) weeks and within budget.
